Transport and Delivery

1. Purchases made at Carpel Bags are delivered to your home by a specialized transport company. Both costs, delivery days and estimated deadlines may vary depending on the destination area.

1.1. The deadline for sending orders in mainland Portugal is, as a rule, 48 hours after payment confirmation.

1.2 . Shipments to the Islands are ensured by CTT Expresso Via Marítima, and delivery times vary from island to island, with the estimated delivery time varying between 5 and 15 working days after shipment.

1.3. Shipping costs for your order are calculated automatically at checkout.

2. Carpel Bags undertakes to send orders placed by the user, from Monday to Friday in the period between 09:00 and 18:00, with the exception of public holidays and time tolerances, in accordance with the times previously scheduled with the contracted carrier to deliver to the address defined by the user.

3. Delivery times may differ during periods of promotions, sales, Black Friday, festive seasons, holidays and items that are only available “to order”.

4. If you purchase an item that is only available “to order”, the delivery time will be calculated according to the deadline given by the respective supplier, given that Carpel Bags' response capacity is conditioned by stock availability.

5. In the event that our carrier is unable to deliver the order on the indicated date, the user will be contacted to provide another delivery date.

6. Due to the fact that damage may occur to orders during transportation, the user/customer must always confirm, when receiving the order, the packaging and check for possible damage to the packaging or products ordered, and must not accept delivery of the order, which will be returned.

6.1. In this case, the user must report the situation duly documented with photographs and send it to shop@carpelbags.com so that we can resend the order without any additional costs (if stock is available).

6.2. Alternatively, the user can cancel the order and the entire amount paid will be refunded, subject to prior authorization from Carpel Bags.

7. If the order is returned due to non-collection, or because no one is present at the address provided by the user for this purpose, the shipping cost will be deducted from the refund amount.
